🏡 About the Role
As a Care Assistant at one of our well-respected Barchester care homes, you’ll be a crucial member of a dedicated care team, focused on delivering high-quality support tailored to each individual’s needs.
Your daily duties will be varied, meaningful, and rewarding. You’ll work closely with residents to help them enjoy each day to the fullest, promoting independence, dignity, and comfort.
🌟 Key Responsibilities Include:
Providing personal care, including assistance with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Supporting residents during mealtimes, helping with feeding if necessary, and ensuring dietary requirements are met
Following individual care plans to deliver personalized care
Offering companionship, emotional support, and engaging in meaningful conversations
Encouraging participation in social activities, hobbies, and memory-building moments
Maintaining detailed, accurate records of care provided and changes in resident wellbeing
Working closely with nurses, care home managers, and family members to ensure a holistic approach to care
