Main Duties and Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant, no two days will ever be the same. You’ll have the opportunity to work in a supportive and inclusive environment where your efforts are truly valued. Your main responsibilities will include:
Assisting residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, eating, and mobility
Following personalised care plans tailored to each resident’s individual needs and preferences
Providing emotional support, companionship, and one-to-one time with residents to help improve their overall wellbeing
Supporting residents with meals, hydration, and nutrition in a respectful and dignified manner
Working collaboratively with nurses, care staff, and family members to ensure holistic care delivery
Ensuring the environment remains safe, clean, and comfortable for all residents

About You

Some previous experience in a care or support role (formal or informal)
A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
Patience, empathy, and a respectful approach toward all residents
Most importantly, you’ll have the compassion and integrity to treat every resident with the care you’d want for your own loved ones.
