Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT) is offering an exciting opportunity to join the Adult Learning Disability Service as a Data and Information Assistant. This essential role will support both clinical and administrative teams to ensure accurate data reporting, efficient office management, and smooth service delivery across the Community Learning Disability Service.

About the Role
As a Data and Information Assistant, you will work closely with the Data and Information Officer and alongside the wider team, including the Head of Allied Health Professionals and Clinical Lead Nurse. You will also collaborate with the Specialist Reporting Team to collect and process performance data for contractual and internal reporting purposes.
The role is office-based at Heath Close in Billericay and includes general administrative responsibilities that support the daily operations of the building and staff.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Updating and maintaining electronic databases and systems, such as Eproc and Health Roster
Managing staff records, including annual leave and sickness absences
Supporting the collation and analysis of data for service performance reporting
Handling day-to-day office duties such as photocopying, scanning, filing, and stock management
Assisting with diary management, room bookings, and health and safety checks
Acting as a first point of contact by answering calls and welcoming visitors
Liaising with internal departments, multidisciplinary teams (MDT), and external partners
Maintaining accurate records of communication and documentation
Ensuring confidentiality and data security is upheld at all times
Who We’re Looking For
Education & Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and databases
RSA 1 / Pitman’s Elementary or equivalent typing/administrative qualification
A solid understanding of office organization, processes, and systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Confidence working independently and managing workload with minimal supervision
Experience & Attributes:
Professional and courteous manner both face-to-face and over the phone
Able to prioritize tasks and respond flexibly to changing demands
Team player with a proactive approach to supporting colleagues
Ability to travel across EPUT sites when needed
