Tiller is looking for an experienced and passionate Social Media Manager to drive engagement and build brand loyalty within the personal finance space. This remote position offers the opportunity to work from anywhere while creating and managing content that resonates with Tiller’s mission of financial empowerment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media strategies, content creation, and community management within the personal finance industry.

As a Social Media Manager, you will play a pivotal role in increasing brand awareness, driving subscriber growth, and fostering meaningful conversations across various platforms. You’ll also be a key player in engaging with influencers, monitoring trends, and aligning your efforts with Tiller’s overall marketing goals.

Location: Remote (Work From Anywhere)

Salary Range: $50,000 – $74,999 USD per year 

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Management

  • Develop and post engaging content across Tiller’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit).
  • Create visually appealing posts, including written, visual, and video content that aligns with Tiller’s brand voice.
  • Share insights from the Tiller community to social media and forums, and vice versa.

Community Engagement

  • Actively participate in conversations across social media, forums, and the Tiller community.
  • Respond to inquiries, foster discussions, and build relationships that enhance brand loyalty.
  • Provide feedback from the community to internal teams.

Trend Monitoring & Analysis

  • Track industry trends and competitor strategies to keep Tiller ahead of the curve.
  • Engage with trending topics in the personal finance space and adapt strategies as needed.
  • Use social media metrics to refine and optimize content performance.

Influencer Relationship Building

  • Identify and engage with influencers in the personal finance community.
  • Foster long-term relationships with key influencers to amplify Tiller’s reach.
  • Coordinate influencer collaborations for mutual growth.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Tiller’s marketing, product, and support teams to align social media strategies with overall business goals.
  • Share community insights and ideas to support broader marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Passion for Personal Finance: In-depth understanding of financial topics, particularly spreadsheets, is crucial.
  • Social Media Expertise: Proven experience managing and growing platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Reddit.
  • Content Creation Skills: Ability to produce compelling written, visual, and video content aligned with brand messaging.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Experience in tracking, interpreting, and acting on social media metrics to drive growth.
  • Influencer Relationship Management: Skilled in identifying and cultivating relationships with influencers, ideally within the personal finance space.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
